I thought of you again today...
Another memory of you pop-ed into my mind while I was talking to Parrot after lunch. She was crossing her legs and it looked so long! And I was like "OMG! How come you're legs look so long?! It looks like a frog's hinds legs!"
Parrot: Maybe because I'm taller than you?! So everything about me looks longer than yours! Ha ha...shorty!
Me: Wtv...hpmh...but actually to come and think of it, it actually looks more like a freaking grasshopper!"

C, Pandi and I used to call you "belalang" *grasshopper when translated to engliseh* I don't even know if you knew this. lol. But only because you were super tall and we had our issues with each other back then so for gossiping purposes we came up with the nickname. How childish we were...
and I'm sorry....
really sorry for all the hurt we caused you at that tension point in our lives...we didn't mean to and deep down inside, I'm reassured as I know you have already forgiven us even without us asking for forgiveness cause that's just you T... n because of that we were friends till the end. I miss you ever so much!

I REALLY need to loose weight... =.=

Before anybody starts jumping to conclusion, I don't think I'm fat ok.... Just that my tummy is turning into a Rollie Pollie Ollie... And to top things of, I can confidently *and regrettably* say that I look 3 months pregnant! So this is what 2 bars of snickers a day can do to your tummy...sigh

And I can't even go on a diet! How do people give up food? Or cut down on their meal intakes? I have to have my 3/4 cup of uncooked rice and my chocolates! To all of you out there who is on any kind of diet, I solute you! Cause I know I am not that strong to do so...

But then again, my rollie pollie is disgusting!
So I started doing push ups yesterday and me being the hero that I am, thought that I could straight away do 200 like what I usually used to do. loser. Managed to only do only 50 and ended up with a very very sore cannot-even-bend-down-or-laugh-or-sneeze tummy the whole of today... I couldn't even manage 6 push ups just now!

Parrot said I should give up my snickers and all forms of in-between-meal snacks :(
but giving up chocolate is like giving up water for normal people *only because I don't drink that much of water =.= * but desperate times calls for desperate measures and I AM DESPERATE! So goodbye snickers *for now heh*. If I can overcome you means I can overcome any in-between-meals snacks. I'll see how long I will last. Fingers crossed!

What exactly does a girl talk a bout when she meets up with one of her besties?
Well I can tell you that studies and actually discussing an assignment they set out to do is definitely not one of them!

We we in uni for 5 hours and completed nothing! Where the hell did the time go? An hours lunch turned into a 3 hour lunch.
Topic of discussion: sex
Question: Are we the only girls who talks about sex in general and our sexual life?
Answer: ??? I'm sure *hope* not!
Anyway, it was too funny! All of us bending closely to hear one another and not letting the others around us hear what we were talking about. Failed miserably! All of us know how loud I can unintentionally be, how loud K can scream out stupid stuff when she gets shocked and how loud A's laughter is. I'm sure everybody at Mayo cafe heared our conversation but fuck it as it was a funny picture when seen as a whole. *chest as close to the table as we can get causing our boobs to lean on the table, hands on our chin, talking softly at one point and screaming hysterically the next* If your hoping that I would reveal our conversation, fat hopes as this blog post would take forever! All I can conclude is that I feel reassured that at least most of my girl friends including this 2 nuts go through what I go through :)

We ended up talking about babies *go figure* lol
and how unfair it is that we have to go through the excruciating pain of labour and child birth.
*I'm convinced that it is all because Eve convinced Adam to eat the forbidden apple* Thanks Eve!

The little book was about how girls and boys were different in their genitals areas... and I actually found out what sex really was, the process and all, when I was 14 as well... before that my mom told us that a married man and women have sex to get a child and that sex is not a word to be used unless with your husband. And when we asked what sex was, she was like a man and a women sleeping naked together and..

Me: Shut up! And I actually thought all the while until 14 that you just have to be naked with a man to get pregnant!

K: Your mom is tooo funny! But then again, I also have a really funny story to tell. When I was 4 I saw a small boy's dick and I had never seen one before and thought both boys and girls have a vagina so I went home and told my mom "Mummy I saw the pp of this boy and it was swollen! Why is that mummy?" LOL! So my mom replied, "Maybe because he never took care and it is infected. But don't go around telling him or anybody cause he wouldn't like it and would be really embarrass okay?"

But my dad.... no way cause he did enough shit to know what I'm up to!

My name is Tiny Karina and I somewhat reside in your area. I'm been your fan on and off this couple of years but could I just ask you a simple question on behalf of myself and everyone I know? Why have you been so PMS-y and crying uncontrollably for this past week! Not just a day or two like the past 2 winters I've been here but a whole week! You've soaked us terribly with your smelly tears that caused our hair and clothes to stink making us waste more water washing them. This winter is by far the worst I've been in and I need an explanation Mr! Dam your cold grudges and sneezing winds that blew me and my poor umbrella off a good number of times. Your mood swings are also not making it any better you know. 1 minute your happy and shining and the next your pouring your clouds out. Now I finally know what my boyfriend puts up with when its that time of the month for me but still.... Please ask your son, Mr Winter to settle his differences with Mrs Spring and let her take control now cause it is her turn after all. People fall in and out of love so easily. One day she is with that guy and next month she is with another. Why do people keep trying so hard to find their soul mates?When do they give up? I mean I'm lucky cause I already found mine but what about the others?I have found myself asking for how long more do you guys keep searching? How many failed relationships must one go through before they find the "special one"?

For me, things were easy. I didn't go out with any guys until I was certain I was ready to be in a committed relationship, that I knew that he was to, that there was chemistry and that he maybe the "one". And then I found him and till today, I can say that I just went out with one guy in my life, loved one and I'm still going out with him whom I'm deeply in love with.

So how do they know if he/she is their soul mate?
Even I do don't know that. All I know is that he completes me,
he laughs and cries with me,
he knows and understands me more then anybody could ever know or understand me,
he loves me for who I am and I can be myself around him,
we fight like cats and dogs but yet we always overcome our differences,
he supports me and
he loves my imperfections
and that is enough for me. It truly is. There is definitely more about why I feel that he is my soul mate than what I stated above but I just can't be fucked to say it all.

My mom told me a few days ago that people in love do stupid things.
But i beg to differ.
People who have no strong values (this does not mean that their parent's didn't bring them up properly), who are not confident of themselves, who are people pleasers, who do not respect themselves or love themselves for who they are ...
they are the one's that do stupid things!

My cousin comes from a good family, good parents, good values..... she's a church goer who was actively involve in the youth ministry and church choir. A quiet and reserve girl I thought she was. But so did everybody. 3 days ago everyone in the family came to terms that she had just delivered a baby girl. A 19th year old mother who just threw away her life. She doesn't want to give the baby up nor does she has any further education besides SPM. The father of the child is in the same position as her. She has ran away from home and forbids her parents from seeing her.

I'm very much in love and I love.
But I guess I'm blessed with my values and I know when to draw the line. It's not easy, I for one can agree. It takes a lot to say no,
it takes a lot to be able to share a bed with the person you love and still not do anything.
Love is doing what's best for your relationship, respecting and caring for the other half, knowing the consequences of one's actions. But hey, sex nowadays is a norm.

(to many people out there)
but it is not.
When one is financially and emotionally stable with their partners and knows that their futures will become one then maybe just maybe they may be ready for that intimacy.

I pray for you, that this is not a mistake. It's just another path that is going to be harder than what was originally chosen for you. I pray that you will return to your family cause blood is always thicker than water, and seek your family's help; that you will receive all the help and support you need to be able to move on in life and still become a somebody besides being a wonderful mother.

There was no internet access since I came here on Monday. And today somehow or another, I can connect to HELP's wireless network .

I can't even survive a day now!

My latest addiction.

Can you believe that I have never played it before in my life "properly". Who knew that the numbers actually indicated how many boms there are in that area. All this while I kept on thinking you'd have to guess where you think the bom's are not located.

And I have proudly achived a time of 44 seconds for completing the game.

Beginner's level of course :)

Now on to intermediate.

And now because I opened my big fat mouth and mouthed out I go no work,

Did I mentioned that I started work?

Dec 28th-Feb 19th as an intern at KPMG.

Did I mention that I have no office clothes?

and that I'm stuck using my mothers dull clothes.

Ok that was mean la but it is true! The colours are all either black, white, brown. Mostly brown! No skirts. But thats my fault cause no skirts can fit my waist.

But all this does affect me....

Going to work everyday looking like an aunty.

Ok. Thats mean as well. The clothes are not so aunty like but its big on me.

Moving on. I feel like I'm dissing my mother too much now. lol.

Anyway, the first 2 weeks of the job was ok. boring more like it. I mainly sat in the office. Reading all the news in the Star Online newspaper, binding, admin work, 40% of the work was accounting based work, having 2 hour lunches when we are only allowed an hour. But who's to know right? Not exactly I'm sitting in the offiice and working on serious work. :)

Oh, and t top things off, I was the only intern in the office last week. Out of 20 mind you. All of them went to different client's place but not me. All because I joined late when the others joined on the 7th of Dec.

But I didn't complain. I left the office everyday at 5.30pm sharp while the others left at 8.30/9pm. Some even had to travel from Seremban. ha!

For this month I'm assigned to a client who's placed right opposite HELP.

Can't disclose to much, don't wana get into trouble.

Work starts at 9am-6.30pm. I come staright here of course.

So the internship so far is good.

No complains YET...besides the jam!

note: I really wasn't looking forward to becoming an auditor because of the really realllyyyy long hours.

Who would wanna work so late you tell me?!?

*fucking kiasu no life people.* minus my father of course. lol.

I can still remember when I came back to Adelaide,

I'm in my final year already!

"You do know that time is constant and there is 24 hours in a day."

I have been thinking alot about it these past few days...

We went to watch the Michael Jackson This Is It Movie last night.

Wow.

That's all that came out of my mouth.

Wow

The video was not made up of the full dress rehearsal.
cause I think he died before they could even do it. :(
it was just bits and pieces joint together.
but even so, by just seeing that,
it was amazing!

The choreography, the settings, the costumes, the love, the music
it was spectacular.
I just can't find any word to describe him.

I was always a big fan of him but not until die hard la.
and I have always wanted to see him perform....
dam sad that I will never get that chance...

I didn't believe the rumors about him, didn't care how he looked.
But I do doubt his kids. lol.
Looks nothing like him!
Blanket is soooo cute!

He was beyond talented.
He sang, performed, choreographed and wrote every song of his.
well most of his songs were written by him, not all.

But still...
wow.

I cried seeing him.
After all that he had gone through...
his performance was beyond perfect.

He was so kind and gentle during the practices.
Never raised his voice or got angry.
He was such a perfectionist as well!

If he had not died and if the concert had actually gone as planed,
it would have been the greatest concert the world would have ever seen.

I'm sure the feeling of pain and loss is still felt in everybody's hearts
especially when his picture comes up or when his music is playing...
and I'm sure the feeling of pain and loss will always be there.
because he was a legend!
no singer could ever come as close to what he was.

The world really did suffer a great loss my dear King of Pop, and it is you Michael Jackson!

Basically, Halloween is a guilt free pass for them to do so.

Why is it so hard to concentrate and not get distracted?

Setiap semester pasti akan ada sesuatu masalah.
why am I berbahasa dalam BM?
kerana nak gossip pasal seseorang yang berasal dari negera lain.
*harap dia tak akan suruh kawannya untuk translate untuk dia la. lol.*
If I were to berbahasa as usual, dia pasti akan baca then mampus la I.

So from reading the above, pasti you dah perasan BM saya sangat sangat teruk.
so bear with me kalau you nak tahu tentang cerita ini.

Semester lalu masalah apa yang berlaku was kawan ini, S, tidak belajar untuk satu subject.
I dan kawan2 lain sangat shocked kerana dia ialah seseorang yang sangat pintar, baik hati dan positive thinking.

Tetapi malam sebelum peperiksaan dia belajar subject lain.
DRAMA besar telah berlaku la malam tu.
I marah akan S dan dia menagis.
drama.
tetapi akhirnya kita berjaya convince S untuk belajar.

Berita buruk ialah S tak lulus peperiksaan itu.
pasti kan kerana tak belajar kerana ada banyak masalah dengan keluarganya.
kita semua berasa sangah sedih untuk dia.

Selepas incident itu, lagi la perangainya berubah.
Dia macam tak begitu happy atau ceria.
Kita pun tak nampak dia banyak, selalu dia dalam biliknya.

Tetapi I tahu S ada masalah.
Masalah wang.
Saya betul2 mahu menolong dia tetapi bagaimana?
Jadi I pun carry on with my life.

Cerita besar bermula minggu lepas.
I berjumpa dengan kawan baiknya, N, semasa having lunch.
N pun tanya I jom berlajar bersama-sama untuk finals ini.
I pun kata ok, kita belajar at S punya place.
N kata tak boleh dan tanya kalau I tak dengar ke?
I pun keliru. Dengar apa?
N kata baik I dengar dari S.

So I pun thinking.
Whats going on?
I beritahu Shangari pasti ada masalah wang dengannya.
pasti S tak boleh bayar yuran = tak boleh duduk peperiksaan.
Shangari kata itu pasti bukan the reason.
suruh I jangan banyak kepoh.

Tetapi semalam kawan lainnya, G, phone I.
dan dia tanya la kalau I ada dengar tak tentang S? I tahu tak?
OF COUSE I DUNNO! DAN TAK DENGAR LA!
so I force dia untuk beritahu I.

Dia kata S akan balik ke negaranya untuk selama-lamanya.
WHAT?
G kata lagi: dan S tak akan duduk untuk peperiksaan untuk semester ini.
WHAT?

I pun betul2 shock.
I tak tahu it would come to this.
Lagi S ialah kawan baik saya.
dan I sangat geram dia tak beritahu saya.
tetapi maybe dia tak boleh confide dengan I lagi kerana I sudah berpindah.

CIS! kenapa ini mesti berlaku kepada orang yang baik seperti S??!?
Is there anything yang I boleh buat?
I rasa sangat sedih untuk S.
Imagine kalau you dalam kasut dia.

I pasti tak boleh take it.
Tetapi I berjumpa dengan S Jumaat lepas dan dia sangat ceria dan berpositive.
dia sudah ada satu plan yang akan diikuti
tetapi dia tak beritahu saya plan itu la kerana dia masih tak beritahu saya kan tentang masalah ini.

Making Sandwiches

This guy is nearing the end of his senior year in high school. Unfortunately he still has to share a room with his younger brother who is about 9 years old.

One night, he decides to bring his girlfriend home for a little fun. They have bunk beds and the guy notices that his little brother is already asleep on the lower bunk, so he and his gal climb up to the top bunk.

As you might expect things start to heat up. The guy remembers that his little brother is sleeping below so he tells his girlfriend to whisper, "lettuce" if she wants it harder and "tomato" if she wants to do it faster.

"Lettuce...tomato...lettuce lettuce...tomato! LETTUCE! TOMATO TOMATO! LETTUCE!!!"

The little boy shouts up to the top bunk. "Will you two stop making sandwiches up there!? You're getting mayonnaise all over my face!"

Within a year of usage, the brand new computer would eventually crash.
Either affected by overheating, viruses or lighting.
mainly due to viruses I would say.

So I thought maybe the curse only works for CPU's and not laptops.
But boy was I wrong.

My laptop crashed on the 7th of September.
Out of every reasons possible, it was due to my
freaking
MOTHER BOARD CRASHING!
Why?
Because my graphics card burned out and it affected the mother board.
*Too much of video streaming I would say...GREY'S, OTH, GG, UGLY BETTY and the list goes on!*

Till now I have no idea how I survived without a laptop for that long.
It literally felt as though both my arms and legs had been amputated.
I was lost!

So, my only option was to change the whole mother board and pay freaking $600!
Aussie dollars mind you.

I decided that I was not out of my mind and decided not to repair it but wait till I go back to Malaysia and buy a brand new one.
heh. :)

Funny story.
We decided to make "vendium columbu" (Onion curry) today
since Shangari and I are both Vegs on Fridays.
Thanks to Ian recipe, it actually turned out good!
*Not as great as Sri Pandi's but the crave for it was intolerable!*

For that half an hour we had no idea what we doing so this is how it went:

S: What you doing?
K: Cutting the shallots.
S: You don't cut them you fool! You just put the whole thing in.
K: You sure?
S: Yes
K: Really???
S: YES!!!!

K: Ok! Chili time!

*adds in 1 table spoon of chilli powder, mind you, the table spoon was BIG*
*and we added 6 dried chilies earlier*

S: How much did you add?
K: 1 table spoon only la....chill....

*adds in another table spoon of chili powder*

S: What are you doing?!?!?
K: Adding in.
S: Its to much!!!
K: Chill la... we're going to flood it with water anyway right cause it needs to be watery? So the spice won't be there...
S: Point! ok loh...add a little bit more than.

*adds 1/4 table spoon of chili powder*

S: Wow! It actually turned out good!
K: I know right!

*after 30 seconds*

We finished eating everything cause we were super hungry.
That night we couldn't sleep as our intestines were burning!!!
You know that uncomfortable feeling where you need to just shit it out but you can't!?!?!?
We went to bed feeling like that.

And the next day
well.......
It was mostly spent in the bathroom....
Sounds of bomb blasting and very veryyy loose cannon balls...

Our anuses were burning like there was no tomorrow!
And it was so soar that it made sitting down impossible.

It gives us the chance to be someone that we desire to be on the inside.
We are able to enter into a world that is of our very own.

Heck we can be younger and care free than what we really are.

But sadly I don't remember most of my dreams.
Especially the exciting ones which I wake up to with adrenalin pumping through my veins.

I have a different view about dreaming.
To me dreams are influenced by a person's daily events.
Whatever happens today influences your dreams tonight.

A few days ago, I saw Nigel's nephew on web cam for at least 3 hours as Nigel was babysitting him.

Last night S was talking to me about V.
Very basic stuff about him making a commitment.

Hours later I dreamt that V had a thing for S and I.

my house was on fire.
The shocking thing was instead of jumping down and saving myself,
I started saving my clothes!
I kept was throwing them outside the window.
I didn't bother about my laptop, my wallet, my passport.
Nothing except my clothes.

I got up with an ache in my heart.
The one's you get when you dreamt that one of your loved one's passed away.
And I could not stop thinking how valuable my clothes are!
I've been collecting them for ages. Since I can't remember.
And if I were to loose all of it, I would be devastated!

There are still some more clothes in my suitcases above and some more in good old Malaysia.

So I thought to myself,

what would I do?

Ok.... It's been ages since i last blogged but I have my reasons!

1. Finals were going on for 2 weeks hence this is good excuse to be used =)
2. Moving into a new place is awfully traumatic and stressful so I did not have the time
3. Shangari and I, the most brilliant people on earth, did not find or install our internet in advance before moving in. So it took us 3 weeks to get the phone line and the internet installed.
4. I was on holiday, give me a break!
*It was more of sheer laziness*

The holidays were good.
We ate alot, slept alot, played PS2 alot, and slept some more.
It was mostly us getting used to the new place.
And before we knew it 3 weeks just flew by just like that!
And so uni begins....

It is a start of a new semester. Last semester thankfully by God's grace I got through all my papers.
*only studied a few weeks before the exams*

Note to self: Never ever ever EVER , *ok enough emphasis* repeat this EVER again!

So this brand new semester, Karina's going to be a BIG NERD!
*smiles widely showing all 32 teeth*

And the joke is, I'm actually keeping up to it so far, fingers crossed.
To top things off, the time spend having fun is much more worth it when actual work is actually done compared to procrastinating. hee hee.
*I know this is a known fact but heck it. I just discovered it on my own*

The life of a NERD:

Read through and study the chapters before going for the lectures
Come back and study those chapters again
Do the tutes for those chapters
Repeat the same thing for all subjects

Yeap.... This is what I have been doing since uni started and here I am now with nothing to do as today's my day off and yes I have finished most of what I am suppose to do for this week and I have Wednesday's off as well to bum around. One word: NERD! =)

When was the last time you jumped on your bed?
As in jumping constantly and not just one jump.

Mine was like ages ago. When I was in a kid.
I mean there were instances where I have jumped before in my teens to stick glow in the dark stars on the ceiling.
And recently, jumping on by bed to bang the ceiling ,to disturb Kavita above.

But its been a while since I have JUMPED!

We got the keys to our new house today. It was the first time walking in as new tenants. Phillip joined us later on.
Shango and I decided to take pictures of our first experience. Photos are on FB.

I have this thing where I can only know if a bed is really good if I jump on it. The easier it is to jump on, the better. The higher you can jump, the better.

Especially since exams are around the corner (24th June).
It really did take away all our worries and stress.

.Trying different poses in the air.

It was an awesome day.
The happiness I felt from laughter, friends and family.
It is not the same as what you get from clubbing or chilling.
It was REAL.
It was FELT.
It was THERE.

Exams are just 2 weeks away so I have told myself I will try to stop blogging until my exams are over.
So if there are any other post after this and if it is before 3rd of July, it means that I'm procrastinating!

Everything is done today! No more assignments/presentations.
Had my Financial Institution and Management presentation today and hopefully I did good.
The lecturer kept staring at me as if I was talking Gibberish.
Felt like kicking her in the tush.

Updates till I write again:
- We're getting the keys to our new place this Tuesday! *jumps up and down*
-I'm so screwed for my finals that it is not even possible to think I can pass

-I didn't even know how much I was going to miss my housemates until today. So am going to make a one-day-lunch-in-a-week with them.

Well I thought I was someone else at a point in my life. Someone that none of you would have ever guessed if given a million years.

I was watching an episode from Brothers and Sisters earlier this afternoon and I realised what a wonderful family they are. But screw it. Families like that never exist in real life. Its just way to much drama. But I still love it anyway!

Anyway, there is these two gay characters who are married, Kevin and Scotty. So while I was watching them be so into one another in that episode it made me recap about my big, dark and twisted secret.

I'm sure you've guessed it by now.....

I thought I was a lesbian.

Mind you the word used is "thought".
NOT "was".

I'm sure at one point in a person's life they are surely to wonder if there is a possibility that they might be a homosexual.
*No point hiding it. I know it's true. :) *

That point in my life happened when I was 15 years old.
I was watching the first part of Cruel Intentions. It came to the part where Kathryn was trying to teach Cecile how to kiss a guy and at that short moment I wondered.....

It was the best lesbian kiss ever, that's for sure.
And after that scene, my mind could not stop going places where it should not go.
Images started popping out in my head and the flow of it just could not stop! It was just like when you have diarrhoea - Its keeps on coming and you can't stop it!!!
*Ok.... Bad example I know but I can't think of any another.*

It was to disgusting thinking of kissing my own sister so I went on to other girls but none came to my mind and it didn't have any effect on me.

Well of course I was envious of those who had heavy racks and I have always found their assets "interesting".
I mean how can they become so big?!?!?

7/131 GRAY STREET!!!!

A huge applause breaks loose.... Karina and Shangari can't stop smiling like jackasses.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........

OK from the top I shall start. We were suppose to move in to this place called Pristina Court last week when we got the offer but the real estate agent for that place wanted someone to move in sooner than us (before 23rd of June). So she set out 2 more days to find new people and of course she couldn't find anyone better than us. *cheeky smile*

But we did not know this. So we thought that our chances of getting the place was slim so we went house hunting again and found this Gray street house last Friday.

On Monday Pristina calls me up and offers us the townhouse in the morning. I accepted it without hesitation because that was out ideal place. The excitement could not be controlled and my "studying" for that day went kaput. Oh well. Later after that, Gray calls me suddenly and offer's the place. I mean I could not believe it! We never thought we would get the townhouse at Gray Street but we did!!!! I accepted theirs as well and tried to wait as patiently as I could for Shangari to come back from uni.
*stupid donkey took soooo long*

After all the debating and drawing of pro con's list we decided to take Gray as it is $20 cheaper than Pristina a week and they have 2 bathrooms instead of 1 which Pristina has.
*However.... we had to forgo 3 weeks rent ($600 per person) as the agent wanted us to move in on the 8th of June. BUT, parents don't know so hush hush if you manage to read this*

So the next thing on the agenda was who was going to get the bedroom with the ensuite bathroom.

DUM DUM DUM.....

We both wanted it so badly so we had no choice but to leave it to luck/faith.
It was a dual consisting of three challenges. The person who wins two out of three would get the room.

The Three types of Challenge

1. Lucky Draw
(4 papers consisting 2 of Shangari's name and 2 of mine was put into a pot)

2. Rock, Paper, Scissors
(5 times)

3. Coin Toss
(Using a 50 cents coin)

Kavita was our judge. The first challenge, she pulled out Shangari's name. That women couldn't stop shouting and I couldn't stop wanting to strangle her!

And then, the second challenge. We made it till we drew 4, 4 and then....
I won using my rock to smash her scissors!!!
*thank you wonderful fist of mine*

So it was even now and it was all up to the coin toss. I swear that my heart was going to bungie jump off my chest. We did not know which was heads or tails *of course* lol. So she decided to take the queen side and I choose the kangaroo.

Kavita (my lucky charm from now onwards) flipped it and turned it over. She opened her hands and shouted KANGAROO!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!

You have no idea how happy I was!!!! I WON!!!

Hello ensuite bathroom of mind. *smiles from ear to ear*
*sorry Shangari.... I'll make it up to you somehow :) *

So today was the day we took a bus to the Parade in Norwood and went over the agreement with Sue *the bitch... don't ask*.
All looked fine and at 2.15pm we signed it and become proud tenants of the townhouse at 7/131 Gray Street!

Features of Gray's townhouse:

-Fully furnished modern townhouse
-Cutleries, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and toaster included
-Balcony overlooking the city
-2 double bedrooms
-2 HUGE built in wardrobes
-2 bathrooms (1 of the is ensuite to one of the rooms)
-Dining table, sofa's and a TV
-Washing machine and drier
-Built in alarm system
-Double garage
-Free water bills without a limit on usage!!!

And for all of this including utilities, I'm paying the same amount for staying at the Village or maybe even cheaper!

3 days the sun was out, the weather was great and hot (23 degrees) but it of course had to be sooo gloomy and cold when I decide to go out!

Why does the weather here have something against me?!?!

Alarm rings at 7.30am and I sprang out of bed. I just could not control the excitement!
Karina's going to the zoo!!!! *after 10 years mind you*

But of course nothing in this world goes according to plan right. Shangari calls and tells me that she can't make it after what seemed like a stupid night for her. But oh well, Kavita decided to come in her place! :)

The weather was just so bad! It wasn't raining or anything. It was the wind! It was so strong and the chills it gives you that pierce through your spine! What a day to go to the zoo. Honestly, the zoo wasn't that great. I mean all the hype about it was for nothing. I mean common people.... Come to Malaysia, our zoo's way better!

Ok. Let me explain what exactly is Monarto Zoo. Its suppose to be like "Africa". Most of the animals here are what you get over there. The zoo is like an open range sanctuary where you go on a safari bus tour inside the animal's habitats. What habitats? Dry land, dry grass/no grass, dried mud.... "Just like Africa". That part they got it correct.

It wasn't a pretty sight. It was all dusty and dry. The animals too looked sedated (all of them were lying down or sleeping). And because we were on the bus, we could not actually take good photos of them due to the dirty windows on the bus.

The only good thing from this trip was that we had pretty close encounters with the giraffes. One heck of a creature. I have always admired them. Huge, tall creatures that have wonderful printed skin and walk on toes. Did you know that they actually walked on their toes?!? I knew i didn't until today.

Yeap. WOW!

Anyway I'm just too lazy to upload the other pics that I took at the zoo. So I'll upload those once exams are over. As for now, I'll leave you with the GIRAFFE TALK. It's a conversation between 3 giraffes that we saw today. (If the pictures are too small, click on them to enlarge)

I'm just so sick of staying at the Village.
I mean don't get me wrong... I have wonderful housemates ( Kavita and Roshanthi that is)
The other two are just.... different.

I'm so sick of having to clean up after everybody's mess, making sure the kitchen is clean, having to deal with stupid ant problems, having absolutely no place in the fridge AT ALL, wanting to use a pan and finding it dirty in the sink.

PRO's and CON's of STAYING of the Village

All bills are included in the $220 rent (electricity, water, gas)

400 students to keep me company whenever I leave my house so I'll never feel lonely

My mom can get me out any legally binding agreements

MY OWN BATHROOM!!!!

Wonderful housemates to keep me company whenever i want

*I'm going to miss you to so very much*

Tight security *I'm going to miss Eddie*

Huge study table for my books to be scattered everywhere

Really nice receptionist (Alicia and Patch) to deal with all my house problems

Have to pay for laundry

No privacy

Issue with certain people

Dirty kitchen

PRO'S and CON'S of MOVING out of the Village

QUEEN SIZE BED!!!

Free laundry

*I can wash my clothes many many manyyy times! Rather than twice a week. lol.*

HUGE WARDROBE!!!

Clean and tidy house (kitchen and bathroom)

*hopefully.....Shangari, it better be!!!*

No ant problems for me to deal with

PRIVACY *Nigel can live with me during the holidays without any problems*

Possibily lower expenses than staying at the Village

So now, after searching so hard for 2 bedroom houses/ townhouses/ apartments, I have to just sit back, try my hardest to relax, and wait *hope* for a call. Now? Tomorrow? Day after? Next week? Who knows? *except the stupid real estate agents and our possible landlords who refuses to let us know as soon as possible*

Gee, I really hate waiting!!!!

Well I thought why not? Lets just give a proper welcome to those of you who visit my blog...

Why did I start this blog in the first place? hmmm...
1. Because I was dead bored at home.
2. Another excuse for not studying.
3. So I can rant about
whatever I want
without people judging
me and thinking
that I'm talking bad
about them.
*unlike some people I know*

This is my space, my thoughts and all about me and my life.
I'm going to write whatever I want so please don't get offended by any of it.
Sounds a bit harsh no? I can't control it...

A heads up:
It can seem that I'm a very very mean person when it comes to me being straight forward and I apologise for that.
I can't keep quiet about how I feel and I will tell you my opinion without hesitation.
I can also be very very sarcastic at times so heads up people.

This is basically going to be kind of like my online journal *nothing to personal i promise... ;)
Where i share the thoughts that go through the little head of mine and my feelings which are bottled up inside my heart.

This blog is going to be like my life's story.
So when I look back at it years to come, when I'm old and have mastered knitting *yes, I am knitting now. lol. will talk about this later* , I would laugh at my immaturity and small problems which I thought was the world's biggest problems.

Right now, my biggest problem is studying!!! Hopefully i outgrow it soon... lol.

There's exactly 5 weeks and 5 days till my finals and Karina has decided to start blogging again..... *hopefully it will work out this time*

I have this huge assignment due (40% of my final grade.... yea, i just found out!!!!) by the end of this month and all I can ever do is get distracted. All i ever want to do is sleep and sleep and sleep some more. This escapism is really getting to me... again. I blame it all on Mr. Winter. For his gloomy days, quiet raindrops and cold cold weather. Sigh... if only someone could invent an anti-distraction pill, the world won't be filled with procrastinating people such as myself....

Not to worry, a more appropriate "welcome" post will be posted up soon :)
